On the 17th, 18th & 19th of April 2009 several Members of the MMAA went to Tamworth in NSW with Terry webster and Grant Bates coming up from Victoria to give support to an Associate Member of the MMAA. Who was being initiated into Freemasonry.
This Member being Trevor Capararo. Most of us went up on the Friday and were invited to Trevor's and Wendy's house for a BBQ and to meet up with some of our Tamworth Members. The night went off well even though Michael our National President droped his Wing outside Trevors House. Granted it was on a sloppy road but never the less no harm was done and it was agreat night.
On Saturday we found were the New Temple was and had a look around Tamworth.
With Gary Duff from the Central Coast Chapter having a bingle with a Black Rav4 in his family car. Saturday afternoon came around and we all met at the New Temple at around 4pm.
Trevor having nerves catch up with him. The Lodge opened and as a Group we entred the Lodge as MMAA Members. The Initiation went extremly well Trevor was congratulated by the DGIW VWBro Don Janson. In all it was great to watch. I must also thank our Brother Shane Mathies who rode all the way down from Toowoomba QLD for the event.Thanks Shane and to all who attended the Initiation of Trevor Capararo at Lodge Peel #209 in Tamworth.
