Rides 2009

Ride Description. New Members Ride to support the
Proposed Sydney South West Chapter.
From: Cross Roads Pub Liverpool/Prestons.
To Picton
Date: Sunday next 24th May
Contact Ride Organiser: Glyn Williams
Contact Number J_GLYN@bigpond.com

COMMENTS: Plan is to leave the Crossroads pub at, strangely enough, Cross Roads Prestons, or Liverpool dependent upon your point of view. Leaving time is o9:45. We’ll move on to Macca’s at Narellan if that’s more convenient for some, leaving at 10:15 sharp.
You can see the timings for the rest of the ride which will finish up back where we started, or close to it. “Mid ride” stop is Picton at, most probably, the George IV, for a bite etc. We can have a discussion about the formation of the Chapter there. I expect we’ll back at start point by about 14:00ish.

##### All riders and friends please come and support fellow brethren to develop this promising new chapter.

I am asking for assistance with this request, from all members or friends in Sydney area that could help by providing bikes or bike that can stay all day. Part of the day or drop in during the day to provide a bike presence at Turrammura for the open day. I intend to spend the total day there providing security for all the bikes.

Please contact me if you can help with this request, I would also like details of bike manufacture type and spec. Brand type would by listed in advertisement for the open day. The specs would help answer questions from the public.

Ride Description. Lodge Hornsby Centenary celebrations
As part of the Lodges celebrations, we have been invited to promote the MMAA and our new bikers lodge, our interest in bikes as Masons at the Turramurra open day. Bikes will be displayed within the lodge and its garage. Bongo would like a presence of bikes and some members to hand out brochures membership applications and to talk about bikes. All bikes new and vintage are welcomed. Any bikes that can be left all day for display purposed would be greatly appreciated. Also looking for any MMAA flags badges jackets etc to be displayed. Social photos for notice board. Flags. Any other initiatives you find appropriate to assist in promoting our membership in bikes.
